Steve M. Brooks, CIC, CPIA is President of B & B Premier Insurance Solutions Inc, a full-service independent insurance agency based in Agoura Hills, CA. B & B Premier Insurance Solutions provides clients with insurance coverage in the areas of property and casualty, including: personal insurance (auto, home, earthquake and umbrella coverage for jewelry, collectibles and artwork); as well as business/ commercial insurance (general liability, workers compensation).
Prior to becoming president of B&B, Steve was the founder of award winning Steve Brooks Insurance Services which opened its doors in 1989. For 20 years, Steve Brooks Insurance Services served clients throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. In 2009, an incredible opportunity arose which would allow Steve to serve his clients with enhanced services, additional products, and even more favorable pricing. Through partnering with the highly reputable (and complementary) agency, Tri-County Insurance, Steve now proudly provides more options that ever to thousands of clients. It was the seamless blending of these two renowned independent agencies that resulted in the launch of B & B Premier Insurance Solutions, Inc.
Steve received his B.S. in Marketing from California State University, Northridge. He then earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation and is a Certified Professional Insurnace Agent. Today he is widely recognized as one of the nation’s top Personal Insurance Agents, and serves as Chairman of the Board for the national trade association, the Personal Lines Growth Alliance (PGLA). Steve is a frequent guest speaker at high schools and universities, as well as a published author in national magazines including Scotsman Guide, Top Agent, and Broker Banker. He also contributes regularly to Warner Center News.
In addition to serving as President of B & B, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Southern California; Steve is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling. He and his wife Renee live in Thousand Oaks and have three kids in college.
